Seniors May Need To Adjust To Using Hearing Aids

In the past, people have believed that simply placing a hearing aid in a person’s ear would make their world instantly better. One recent study revealed that may not be the case, however.

Researchers from the University of Minnesota-Columbia conducted an intervention that caused people to gradually use their hearing aids for periods that increased over time instead of having participants use the auxiliary aids all the time.
